Hayk Zeynalyan, Director of the National Standards and Metrology Body of Armenia CJSC, participated in the 62nd General Assemblies of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the 68th General Assemblies of the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) held in Cyprus on June 18-19, as well as the 18th joint meeting of the organizations.

During the event, the results of the organizations' activities were presented, future programs and a number of issues related to the development of the European standardization system were discussed.

Membership of the National Standardization and Metrology Body in the European Committee for Standardization provides full access to existing European (EN) standards and provides the opportunity to develop and implement national standards that are harmonized or identical to European (EN) standards.

The event was an important opportunity to deepen cooperation with the international professional community, establish new contacts and get acquainted with current trends in the field.
